About Me

The name's Asfeldt- Hans Asfeldt. I'm a 92 kinda guy, homegrown in A-town AB.

This is my backyard. Hansmade singletrack in the summer and a hockey rink in the winter- inspired by the Bell Centre.  If I'm not ripping dirt on the Kona, I'm melting snow on a pair of Fischers. I couldn't tell you a thing about the Premier League but I love to play football. Volleyball's good too. I'm not the best at anything but I've got my hands in a little bit of everything. I can never get enough of the outdoors. My heart lies in the mountains. Canoing, skiing, hiking, camping.

I have a great family. Mom, Dad, Nils and Anika. Couldn't have asked for a better bunch. I'm the eldest, and by far the ________. Mom gave me the brains, Dad got me on skis, Nils corrects my mistakes, and Anika laughs at my jokes (sometimes).

Every now and again, when I need a break from sports (rarely), I pick up the guitar and do my best to play a tune. I've experienced minimal improvement over the last few years and I've made a correspondingly minimal effort to get better. Nonetheless, my guitar is my escape. When I play, time goes by unnoticed.

My favourite place in the world is Sechelt BC. Nothing is better than relaxing on the boat, playing cards, and taking a swim.

I find many different aspects of the academic spectrum quite interesting. I took a French Immersion program in school, and I'm currently learning Norwegian. Sciences, math, and social studies easily capture my attention. I have been admitted to Augustana University in Camrose for a B. Sc., majoring in Math and Physics and minoring in Political Studies. We'll see where that takes me! What I do know is that I like to be active and that I love to be around people.

So there you have it, Hans Peder Haugen Asfeldt in a nutshell. (If you're interested, just call.)
